Over the summer I had the pleasure of documenting my cousin, Dr. Amy Goddard, at her place of work. She is the owner of GO Sports Therapy in Coppell, Tx. I was honored she asked me to come in and photograph her and the other caring therapists hard at work. I was able to photograph a variety of techniques that they use at GO Sports Therapy. Amy is passionate about her work and offering patient-centered care at her clinic. They believe that within every person is the capacity for healing and GO Sports Therapy creates that environment where healing can occur.
One of the first things you’ll see when you walk into Amy’s clinic is the yellow jerry can. It’s part of Water is Basic - empowering South Sudan in the fight for clean water. Amy has been to Africa multiple times to help on medical mission trips. She’s an advocate for helping those in need, including those at her clinic and those all the way on the other side of the world.
